Day 8 was the perfect day to relax at the beach. Abby had spent the night at Tracy's apartment, but Dave, Norah, and I woke up early and walked around the Haeundae Beach area and even found a Paris Baguette within walking distance.
We spent the entire day at the beach, mainly floating in the sea. It was a really HOT day, so the water felt amazing! The girls played in the sand a little bit, too, and Dave's mom had rented an umbrella and two beach chairs that we could all catch some shade in once in awhile. We enjoyed some street food for lunch, including a watermelon drink (blended watermelon and ice in a mini watermelon...watermelon is very pricey in Korea, but this was a refreshing drink!).
That night, we cleaned up and visited the Shinsegae department store and had supper at a fancy buffet. We also got to see Tracy's apartment. She and Abby ended up getting another hotel room down the hall from us so they could be closer. We also visited the beach where Diamond Bridge is (filmed in Black Panther). There was a light/music show that plays and is projected on the bridge--very cool to see!
