South Korea trip--day 6

On day 6, we enjoyed one last breakfast from the Paris Baguette that was around the corner from our place.  We wish there was one closer to us back at home!

We took the subway to the bus station, and took a bus ride to Gyeongju.  After an...interesting taxi ride (we were separated into two taxis, and our driver wasn't exactly sure where to go), we made it to what was one of my favorite places we stayed on our whole trip.  We spent one night at a traditional guesthouse in Gyeongju.  The place was beautiful--there was a big garden in the center of the guesthouse, and a shared kitchen that had eggs, bread, butter, coffee, and juice for breakfast.

We ate supper at a McDonalds in Gyeongju that had traditional Korean architecture.  Then, we visited Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond for their beautiful night views.

This is how Norah fell asleep most nights while we rode a bus, subway, or walked back to where we were staying...she was a trooper for our busy days and late nights!
