Day 5, we separated into two groups. Dave, his dad, and Tracy went to the DMZ, while Nancy, the girls, and I ventured to Lotte World, an amusement park in/attached to a big shopping mall. We navigated the subway by ourselves, and found it just fine! Lotte World was a blast--lots of fun rides and treats, and the day went so fast. There are several levels of the amusement park inside, and an outdoor area that is like a mini version of Disney World. My brother described it as if Walmart made Disney World.
We could have spent much more time there, but the rest of the crew was meeting us for dinner at a Korean/Mexican restaurant to celebrate Tracy's belated birthday.
Such a fun day, and we were so proud of ourselves for being adventurous and getting around by ourselves!
