South Korea trip--day 7

After a surprisingly amazing night's sleep on our mattresses on the floor, we got up and enjoyed making our own breakfast in the shared kitchen.  Here are some more pictures we took of the guesthouse:

We explored Gyeongju a little bit more that morning--we saw some burial mounds and visited Gyochon Traditional Village.  Everyone loved the Dog Experience.

A really neat experience for the girls was the opportunity to make a bracelet (Abby) and a headband (Norah) with a Korean woman who was in one of the buildings in the village.  Norah LOVED learning to sew, and was determined that she was going to find some Korean fabric to bring home for a sewing project (which she did end up finding on our last day in Seoul, thankfully!).

We took the express bus to Busan later that afternoon.

Our hotel in Busan was amazing, and right near Haeundae Beach.  We got checked in and walked down to the beach to check it out.  We ate at a fried chicken restaurant that Tracy says is pretty popular called Mom's Touch.
