The girls made scrapbooks about their time at home:
The girls helped out around the house:
| Abby decided she loved doing dishes |
| Carrying up brush to bring to the compost--warm enough for a romper in April!? |
| Washing Sadie after she snuck down to the pond for a swim |
| Norah made supper (grilled chicken by Dave not pictured) |
We celebrated Easter with an egg hunt, dyeing eggs, our first Easter meal at home (delicious!), and a Zoom Easter call with my mom's side of the family. We even had an Easter snowstorm!
April brought crazy weather--from snow to beautiful days outside.
| Checking out the ice cream shop in Montgomery |
| Another visit to the ice cream shop--we have now tried all of the flavors of Dole Whip! |
| Norah bought herself a scooter with her birthday money |
We continued distance learning, but didn't always work in our work stations...
We celebrated my dad's birthday at Nerstrand State Park with a "social distance" picnic and cupcakes. At this point, we weren't sure about getting too close to my parents, so they invented the "blanket hug" where they threw a blanket over each of the girls to be able to give them a hug.
| My aunt Miriam sent us each two masks |
| Abby bought herself a Vera Bradley blanket with birthday money |
| Sleepover in Abby's room |
| Sadie loved morning naps in my workspace |
We spent a lot of time walking in the woods near our house...some days, it was even nice enough to wear rompers!
