Our annual 3rd of July tradition has been to swim at the Albert Lea pool with Dave's mom, then watch the parade with his family. This year, Dave's cousin Jenny and her daughter Grace, plus his aunt Betty joined us at the pool. Norah was even tall enough this year for the waterslide, which she enjoyed!
After swimming, we ate at McDonald's with Dave's dad, then went to the parade. The girls had made 4th of July cupcakes to share with everyone.
We had to rush out after the parade to make it back to our house in time for fireworks. This year, they shot them off right by our house, so we had a nice view from our neighbor's driveway.

Park City, Utah
We traveled to Park City, Utah with the Nass family this year. Dave and I drove and the girls flew with my parents and sister. This year, everyone was able to make it! The house was amazing, and had lots of fun spaces to enjoy. Our family stayed in the bunk room with 4 queen-size bunks. We also enjoyed the theater room, pinball machine, hot tub, and gas fire pit. There was plenty of space for the kids to play school and house.
On Sunday, we visited the Sunday Silly Market in town. It was very busy! We ate there, but didn't end up buying anything.
On Monday, Norah and Dave went for a hike with some others. Abby wasn't feeling well so I took her to the urgent care and we took it easy for the rest of the day.
On Tuesday, we visited Utah Olympic Park and took an interesting tour. In the afternoon, Dave, Norah, and I went hiking to Mary Lake with Bryan. Abby went for a scenic drive with my parents, Mara, and my grandma.
Later in the week, we also had time for pedicures, tie dying, hot-tubbing, game-playing, a mystery dinner, a fun hike through the meadow and to Cecret Lake, a train ride, and a birthday party for Greg. The girls loved spending time with Sophie, Gavin, and Caleb.
We were all sad to leave on Saturday morning! Lots of fun memories were made!
